I was very excited to be given the opportunity to try a flat iron from Flat Iron Experts. My hair can be very unruly at times and very wavy. Sometimes I do not mind it having a lot of waves and body, but I do like to change it up for a different look now and then. I often find that people that have waves and curls want straight hair and ones that have straight want waves and curls. With flat iron experts you can do that by using a flat iron or purchasing one of their other products. Flat Iron Experts is an online beauty company that specializes in fulfilling your hair care needs. You can choose from various brands of flat irons, curling wands and irons, hair dryers, nail products, and more.


The Cortex flat iron is a 1 inch 450 degree titanium plate flat iron in giraffe design. 450 degrees is the hottest flat iron in the market. Nano titanium technology allows you to be able to style your hair with ease and not worry about snagging and frizz. In addition, it is lightweight-strength and even heat distribution. The titanium plates are an extraordinary conductor of heat that emits negative ions and far infrared heat. Using this flat iron using this flat iron will help eliminate the frizz as it gets close to the cuticle to make your hair smooth and shiny. Additionally, it helps reserve more moisture in the hair shaft.

The flat iron comes with a stand. I think most, if not all come with one. While you are using the flat iron and need to place it down for a moment, you can just set it in the stand without worrying if you are burning your table or counter.

My Verdict
If you use heating tools on your hair, you will want to use this spray. I found my hair to detangle easier with this spray on. My hair is very long and can be unmanageable at times once I sprayed this on; I was able to untangle the knots. Not only is this great for tangles this is imperative so that you do not look like you stuck your finger in a light socket! Without this product you could look like that! Do not fry your hair. Make sure you protect it with heat protectant such as this.

My Verdict
I really loved this product. I never have used a flat iron before so this was my first experience. I have tried using a hair dryer and straightening it that way but that does not work so well. Now my typical routine just went to drying my hair naturally and tossing it in a ponytail so that it would be easier. I do not have to do that now if I want to have my hair straight. With my flat iron I can now flat iron my hair and have it be more controlled. I was hesitant to try a flat iron because I was always afraid that my hair would be frizzy and it would fry my hair to pieces. I found that it did not fry my hair; instead it eliminated my frizz and added shine. Additionally, I used it at 350 degrees and it only took me about 10 minutes to straighten my hair.
