Starlooks December StarBox Review
This is the month we have been waiting for! Another month another fantastic box! Every single month has been amazing and exciting to open. Some of you that have been following know that StarLooks is a subscription program that offers 4-6 full size products in each StarBox every month for only $15.00. If you love makeup and beauty products you will not be unhappy. Each box comes packaged beautifully and the products are exquisite. Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s get to the box and contents.
The box is a pretty red for the holiday season. Again, I forgot to leave the lovely gold ribbon that wraps around the box. When the box arrives I quickly open it and somehow the ribbon ends up being misplaced. The most important is the contents are intact and that is what I am going to show you.
In this December LooksBook edition, “ Be the Light” they took inspiration from the lights of the Christmas tree and created 3 different looks using the basic rule of colors of the color wheel, Color Opposites known as complimentary colors. Red/Green, Orange/Blue, Violet/Yellow.
This is their 15 shade Palette that retails for $99. If you did not order Starlooks to get the December box you can purchase this box on StarLooks for $25. In addition, you can purchase past StarBoxes that you have missed as well. Exciting isn’t it? So do not worry and go get yours today! As you can see the colors here are vibrant, bold, and beautiful! I have been playing around with the different colors and created multiple looks to show you.
I
love dramatic looks so I decided to do a rainbow look with the different colors. I used Red in the corner of my eye then Orange, Yellow, Green shimmer, Blue shimmer on the corner and dark purple with violet shimmer on top near the eyebrow.
I used the Blue matte and blue shimmer together on the lid. I then applied Orange shimmer on top near the eyebrow. In addition, there are a variety of looks you can create with this palette. Often I will mix 2 different shades that have the same tones together to make a color have a bolder look. I love the diversity of cosmetics and find myself sitting at my desk trying different color combinations just for fun.
How do I get started?
Look no further you can connect head on right over to their website HERE and subscribe to get their wonderful monthly box. You can gift one to a friend or family member which could be the ultimate Christmas gift! Make sure you visit them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Youtube.
