If you have ever seen the ABC show The Taste you may recognize this apron. The apron is one of many products part of the Ford Warriors in Pink gear that one can purchase to support breast cancer awareness. Ford Motor Company has been active in the fight against breast cancer for over 20 years. The line of gear started to be offered in 2006 when Ford increased their efforts and 100% of the net proceeds are dedicated to the cause with donations going to charities that offer support.

I had the opportunity to review products at Cariloha and I choose two items. The first item I selected is the bed sheets in size queen. These bed sheets along with their other products are made with bamboo. Cariloha bamboo is a resource that is earth friendly, breathable, and hypoallergenic; therefore, if you have skin conditions these would be perfect for you. Fabrics made with bamboo are simply luxuriously soft and can be compared to fabrics such as cashmere and silk. When dry, bamboo absorbs moisture keeping it away from your body.  In addition, bamboo is thermo-controlled which means during the hot months it will keep you cooler and in the cold months it will keep you considerably warmer than other fabrics. As an example, bamboo keeps you 3 degrees cooler than cotton.

After seeing this collection I am in awe how beautiful the nail polishes and blushes are. NARS has paired up with Designer Pierre Hardy to create this beautiful collection that was inspired by his Summer 2013 shoe collection.  Six nail polish pairings, and 2 richly-hued blushes. Nail polish duos come housed in a small shoebox with dust bag (a nod to Hardy’s own footwear packaging), while the high voltage blush palettes go graphic with shimmering gold overspray of the designer’s signature cubic print.
