Heidi’s Hair Ties Review! Where “Fashion Meets Function”!

I am always looking for something new to use when I put my hair up. I have very thick medium length hair and it is very heavy. I typically buy the goody brand hair ties because they work the best for thick hair keeping it in place. I have to admit that at the end of the night when I take my hair tie out, my head is usually throbbing and feels like I had my head between a vice grip! Ok, maybe not to that extent but yes it does hurt and I will usually have an indent in my hair. I know that I have some breakage issues which are probably due to using these hair ties. When I was given the opportunity to review Heidi’s Hair Ties I was very excited to try something new for my hair and be rid of the goody brand!

When I opened the package I pulled out this cute purple pouch and the hair tie was inside. You can use the pouch to store all your Heidi Hair Ties!

This is my goody hair tie that I use all the time. I put it on my wrist for 10 minutes to show you how tight it holds. If this hair tie makes a mark on my skin after 10 minutes you can only imagine how tight it fits around my hair. Hair ties that are tight on your head can cause hair breakage. Moreover, it can cause a condition called tension alopecia (hair loss) which results from excessively tight ponytails when the hair is pulled with extreme tension from the hairline to the base of the ponytail. Of course this does not happen overnight and usually happens from extended use over months or years. Having a tight pony tail can also cause headaches. Like I said above my head sometimes feels like it has been in a vice grip. Eliminate these issues by using Heidi’s Hair Ties!

My Verdict
As I have stated above these hair ties are fabulous. I wrap the hair tie around my pony tail 3 times and there is no indentation when I take it out 10 hours later. Additionally,  I love the ability to customize the hair ties  to fit my personality. I definitely will be purchasing these hair ties from now on.
