The Schick Xtreme3 handles come in Kiwi and Coral colors. In addition, the ergonomically designed handle gives you more comfort and control while shaving. The handles are infused with coconut scent.
When I first opened the package I did not notice the scent of coconut. I stuck my nose into the package as deep as possible to see if I could smell them, but I couldn't. I chalked it up to a cold, and asked my husband if he could smell the handles. He said he did smell a very light hint of coconut. I waited a few days for my sinuses to clear up, then opened a fresh package to see if I could smell the coconut. To my surprise I could smell it, but very lightly! I am a little disappointed that the smell is not very strong or long lasting; but the scent of razors does not play into my decision of why I buy one brand over another. I do not think this should hinder your decision to purchase these particular razors either.

I am a disposable razor kind of girl. One time my husband purchased me an electric razor and I found that it did not give me a close shave like disposables do so I went back to disposables. The non-slip grip handles fit nicely in my hand while I am shaving and the head of the razors pivot to adapt to the contour of your body. Additionally, the wing tip plastic covering over the razor head is easy to take off as you just push the sides in and pull plastic covering off. I like the idea of this type of covering as other plastic coverings are harder to pull off, which in turn can make it easier to cut yourself. I have been using the same razor for approximately one month and have not had to change razors yet.

  1. Love the honest review. Honestly I do not care what my razors smell like, I only care if I can shave my legs and not look like I did it with a machete, lol. I love Schick Razors!

  2. What's the point of a scented handle? I do love the smell of coconut though!

  3. I think it is so it can smell nice while you shave. Although I would think the smell wouldn't be as noticeable especially if you are using scented shave gel.

  4. Disposables are the only razors we use, and love the idea of adding the aloe, and vitamin e, both must feel great after shaving, will be looking to try them.

  5. I only use diposables as well! These sound nice with the added aloe and vitamin e...anything to keep my legs from drying out right after I shave! I wish the scent was a bit stronger, but like you said, scent is not what I base my razor selection on!

  6. I love the big handles - they make it easier to hold onto the razor in the shower.

  11. What a great review. I think disposable razors are the best plus you still get a close cut just as you would with an electrical one
