Japanese women are known to have flawless skin. In Japan it is very important to maintain their beauty as it is a sign of respect to yourself and others. Diet in the Japanese culture has a lot to do with how their skin looks. Eating fish and seafood which is enriched with Omega 3 essential fatty DHA and EPA can help with skin conditions such as psoriasis as well as keeping your skin moisturized and looking younger. Today I will show you some wonderful products that the Japanese culture uses to keep their skin looking flawless as ever. Keep reading and you could get a chance to be on your way to flawless healthy skin.
The Japanese have a name for geisha’s flawless skin it is called mochi hada. Mochi hada means soft, supple skin that resembles baby’s skin. For over 300 years this ritual that I am going to show you to experiment with, is a recreation of simple steps that form the foundation of classical eastern skincare for pure, polished, radiant, and supple skin.

Why it is different
This is for a simple daily ritual that is suitable for dry, combination, and active skin. Rituals available for all skin types. They are non-irritating, non-sensitizing. Dermatologist tested. NOTE: If you are purchasing this sampler box the 3 free samples that you get when you place an order is not included with a sampler box.
All these products are formulated without Mineral Oil, Synthetic fragrances, Sulfate Detergents, Parabens, PEGs, PPGs, Urea, DEA, TEA or Phthalates.
Active ingredients: HADASEI-3 Bioactive Complex, featured in all four products, includes Green Tea, Okinawa Red Algae and Rice Bran extracts.
The Japanese ritual only has 3 steps or 4 if you need to remove makeup.
Step 1 – Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil- Dry hands, Dry Face.
One would use this first to remove makeup, or have very dry skin. The Camellia and rice bran oils are the base of this cleanser and condition the skin nicely. Pump 1-2 pumps into dry hands and massage onto a dry face. Rinse away with warm water.
This product is fantastic. It really does help remove makeup. It is an oil so it is expected to feel oily. However, it makes your skin feel soft and smooth. This product does not contain mineral oil and you do not have to double cleanse with this. This is good for all skin types. Non Irritating, Non-sensitizing, Dermatologist tested.
Step 2 – Polished Rice Enzyme Powders – Wet hands, Creamy Foam, Wet Face
Rice Powder is the refined starch from rice, known as Oryza Sativa. Rice powder has been utilized to sooth acne and skin ulcerations. Asian women wash their skin with this as it is an emollient skin treatment. In Indonesia, one would soak white rice with water until froth would form on top. Skimming the froth off top and dehydrated into powder. Field workers would spread the froth to their skin, while working in the hot sun, and their skin would continue to be smooth and supple. Using rice bran will increase the production of collagen, and in turn make your skin look younger while keeping it moisturized.
Using Rice Bran in Cosmetics
White rice powder has been used since the 16th century by Japanese Geishas. One can also find it in liquid form or made into lotions. The altered rice powder is added to mineral veils and cosmetics. Additionally, it has indefinite shelf stability and curative properties. The powder of rice is a cosmetic grade food starch that is sterilized and safe.
Rice powder can be utilized in multiple forms. Facial masks, added to mineral veils and makeups, sold in rice water form as skin cleaners and moisturizers, or lotions. The powder of rice is slow absorbing which is great for dry skin. It gives skin a porcelain and shine free finish. One can find it in loose powders, bronzers, powder compacts, and herbal concealers because of how silky it feels. Using this will help maintain soft smooth, and supple skin.
While, some think that rice powder has been connected to acne breakouts. scientists have found that, in fact, the powder of rice actually helps heal acne and skin inflammations, which are actually caused by bacteria produced in the skins pores. Because the powder of rice allows the skin and pores to breathe, while providing emollient and exfoliates to the skin, it does, in fact help cure acne.
What it is:
A water-activated enzyme powder of rice bran, papaya + HADASEI-3 Bioactive Complex. Reveals skin's natural gleam.
Why it's different:Exfoliates without harsh abrasives for effortless baby-soft skin. Functions as a 2-in-1 cleanser for those not wearing makeup.
Who it's for:Created with licorice root to help soothe sensitive skin. Non-irritating. Non-sensitizing. Dermatologist tested.
I tried this powder and I really like how it feels on my skin. You take approximately a teaspoon or 2, which equals 1 packet and put it on wet hands. Rub your hands together to create a creamy foam texture and rub all over your face, avoiding the eye area for 10 seconds and then rinse away with warm water. For deeper exfoliation you may leave it on for up to a minute. However, this is an active product and does not require a high length time. The rice and papaya enzymes remove debris from the skin without irritation. Always run a patch test first. I highly suggest using this as a daily ritual.
Step 3 – Radient Deep Brightening Serum – 1 –2 Pumps
What it is:
A brightening serum of time-tested Asian botanicals + HADASEI-3 Bioactive Complex for radiant looking skin.
Why it's different:Hydrates while making the skin appear more luminous.
Who it's for:All Skin Types. Non-irritating. Non-sensitizing. Dermatologist tested.
This hydrating and brightening serum can be used morning and night. on your face for moisture and radiance to prevent future age spots and clarifying existing spots. Pump 1-2 pumps and massage onto face . Existing age spots will begin to brighten in 4-8 weeks. For best results avoid prolonged sun exposure, as UV rays are the leading contributor to hyperpigmentation.
I have only been using this product for about a week. I do not have any age spots. However, I do want to prevent them! I love the silky smooth texture of this serum. Furthermore, it is very light and not heavy on the skin. I will continue to use this product to keep my skin looking healthy and young.
Step 4 – Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream – Pearl Sized Amount
This is an anti-age cream that provides moisture while promoting the skins natural hyaluronic acid synthesis. Put a pearl sized amount on your skin and you will notice how quickly this absorbs, while leaving your skin feeling like silk. In addition, it is lightweight and you can use this as a natural primer before applying makeup.
This product is great. I decided to try it as a primer to see if it held up like my regular primer. I was very surprised to say that it works very well. I now understand why the Japanese and asian cultures use products such as these to keep their skin glowing endlessly.
What it is:Luxurious yet weightless feeling gel-cream of liquid silk, squalane, royal jelly + HADASEI-3 Bioactive Complex.
Why it's different:Long-lasting anti-aging moisturizer without heavy oils.
Who it's for:Ideal for combination skin. Non-irritating. Non-sensitizing. Dermatologist tested.
Formulated without:
Mineral Oil, Synthetic fragrances, Sulfate Detergents, Parabens, PEGs, PPGs, Urea, DEA, TEA or Phthalates
Actives:
Squalane (Olive extract), Oryza Sativa (Rice) Germ Oil, Inositol (Rice Derivative), Sericin (Silk Protein), Algae Extract, Thymus Serpillum (Wild Thyme) Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin (Soy Derivative), Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract
