Wet n Wild Review!
Take a ride on the wild side with me while I introduce you to Wet n Wild!
II received all four of these products to review. I am a big hoarder of cosmetics and I am delighted to share this with you. The first product I tried was the Perfect Pair Eye Wand. This product makes it very easy to match eyeshadow with eyeliner. Eyeshadow is on one side and a perfect pair of eyeliner is on the other. When you open the package you need to be careful as the cap is a little hard to pop off and my eyeshadow flew out! The eyeshadow was not secured well inside the tube. Packaging needs a little work. However, this eyeshadow is still lovely.
The colors of the Perfect Pair Eye Wand are Java-Champagne which is used to create the perfect blend. Champagne, used for eyeshadow, has a pink hue with a slight bronze effect with a nice shimmer. It applies much like cream eyeshadow. I did not find the eyeshadow to be cakey and it did not crease on my eyelids.
On the top part is the Java eyeliner and the bottom is the Champagne eyeshadow. As you can see the Champagne looks pink and the Java has a nice chocolate brown. I really liked both of these two together. The eyeliner does not need to be sharpened you just twist and it rolls on up. The eyeliner is smooth like a crayon. Perfect Pair Eye Wand can be purchased at your local drugstore such as Walgreens or Walgreens.com for $3.99. The colors available are Black-Slate, Smoke-Lilac, Java-Champagne, Bronze-Toast, Ying-Yang, and Blue-Sky.
This is the Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in Don’t Steal My Thunder color trio. This trio is great for the sultry smokey eye. The silver has a sparkle and found I needed to augment more of this color to get the look I desired. I love silver eyeshadow and found this very appealing. The black applies real dark so my recommendation is not to use a lot of it and blend it well. Do not use your fingers to blend as it will not blend as well using fingers. I used the blending brush that is included with the palette. The white is pigmented with a blue tone. The white looks great when slightly brushed over the black. I found that these do not crease even without using a primer. One cannot beat the price for the quality. You can find this at your local drugstore such as walgreens or online at walgreens.com for $2.99.
Color Icon Trio Don’t Steal My Thunder from top to bottom. Browbone – White, crease – Black, eyelid – Silver. There is a variety of color trios to choose from. Visit Wet n Wild to see all they have to offer.
Now you can have the best of both worlds Eyeshadow and eyeliner in one!! This eyeshadow and eyeliner is so versatile that you can create multiple looks with this.
This is the Idol eyes crème shadow pencil in color Distress. This eyeshadow crème is highly pigmented in color and one can use this as a shadow or eyeliner. The texture is silky and smooth. I have used this as an eyeliner and eyeshadow. One can also layer colors to give a more intense look. I think a mineral eyeshadow over this would look amazing! I highly recommend this if you love crème eyeshadows like I do. Even if you do not like the crème eyeshadows you can use this just as eyeliner. I love multi-use cosmetics! One can find this online at Walgreens.com for $1,99 The picture below is the Idol eyes crème shadow. As one can see the color is rich and vibrant. The colors available for this are Graphite, Distress, Techno, Envy, Electro, and Pixie.
The next product I tried is the Mega Last Retractable Eyeliner in navy blue. This eyeliner provides a smooth smear free application. There is a smudger on the end to make it easy to blend.to achieve the look you desire. If you’re looking for an eyeliner that will wear for many hours this one will do the trick. I put this eyeliner on and 6 hours later it was still intact. It glides easily on the lower lash line. However, I do not use this for the upper lash line as I like a thicker eyeliner for that affect. One can purchase this eyeliner their local drugstore or Walgreens.com for $1.99. The colors available for this eyeliner is Blackest Black, Black, Black Brown, Dark Brown, Charcoal, and Navy.
